The « Echiquier » building dates back to the 17th century, with ancient beamed ceilings, without elevator. lt is located in the 10th arrondissement, in the heart of Paris, close to many restaurants, theaters, shops, metro stations, buses, and railway stations (Gare de l’Est and Gare du Nord). typical French art déco restaurant « Bouillon Julien » is right next door, opened every day non-stop from 11h45 until midnight. « Le Grand Rex », a huge concert hall and cinema is only a five-minute walk from our building. Supermarkets « Carrefour » or « Lidl » are also very close. « Saint Denis Primeur » is the shop down our building, to buy fresh vegetables and fruits.
